Built for Demanding Environments, CyberData’s New 2-Port IP67 802.3bt to 802.3at PoE Gigabit Switch Extends the Range of Outdoor PoE Devices

Monterey, CA CyberData Corporation, developers of innovative SIP endpoints, announced today the release of the 011539 2-Port IP67 802.3bt to 802.3at PoE Gigabit Switch, a waterproof and impact-resistant device designed to split a single PoE connection into one or two PoE network ports. Ideal for large outdoor footprints, the IP67 PoE Switch supports and extends data transmission and PoE power supply up to 100m from the Power Source Equipment (PSE) ports.

In the basic configuration, one of the Gigabit downstream ports can drive a security camera directly with PoE and the other Gigabit port can be connected to an outdoor paging device such as our SIP IP66 Outdoor Horn or SIP IP66 Outdoor RGB (Multi-color) Strobe.
