After investing in a new IP PBX system, a container manufacturing company, utilizing some of its existing overhead paging equipment, adds paging amplifiers, IP based ceiling speakers and intercoms to allow for general announcements and two-way communication, as well as access control.
An Outdoor Intercom at the front entrance allows access control and two-way communication. Indoor and Keypad intercoms at the entrance to engineering and accounting offices as well as within the conference room area.
Manufacturing plants require multiple zones for paging. The v3 Paging Server enables users to access multiple zones through a single SIP phone extension. The Paging Server connects right into the PoE switch.
VoIP Ceiling Speakers allow mass notification offices, hallways and common areas. The Ceiling Speaker can be integrated with a Wall Mount Clock Kit to provide time-keeping in the kitchen area.
For loud and noisy environments such as production, paging amplifiers connect to existing amplifiers and mini-horn loudspeakers for general announcements and production schedule notifications.
A SIP Strobe allows for visual alerting, and when part of the page group for manufacturing, can signal phone calls visually via the LED strobe.
A SIP Office Ringer outside the production manager’s office provides an audible ring indication when part of a ring group, in addition to paging for mass notification.
As part of an SMB manufacturing facility, CyberData IP Endpoints can enable better communications between different areas of the company. When tied to a SIP IP-PBX system, CyberData paging and intercom devices work in all areas of the facility from the office environment that is quiet to the high noise area of production and manufacturing.
CyberData’s line of SIP-based legacy paging devices enable existing analog legacy paging equipment to be easily re-used in the new IP environment.
As SIP or MultiCast endpoints, CyberData VoIP products install seamlessly into an IP-based phone system or can be driven from a number of 3rd party paging and event notification software products supported by CyberData endpoints.
