CyberData Develops Multicast Solution for Cisco Call Manager Express.
CyberData Corporation has recently developed firmware that enables one to use our VoIP Ceiling Speakers and Loudspeaker Amplifier with Cisco’s Call Manger Express (CME) to create paging zones based on multicast addresses and port number combinations. Through Cisco’s Technology Development Partner program (TDP), CyberData has demonstrated the ability to create up to 10 paging zones with different priorities so that higher priority pages such as emergency evacuations can interrupt lower priority pages. With this multicast solution, CyberData was also able to demonstrate continuous streaming background music from any .wav file that can be played on CyberData VoIP paging speakers on the lowest priority and interrupted with higher priority pages.

CyberData ships new Loudspeaker Amplifier for VoIP Telephone Systems.
CyberData Corporation announces the release and first shipments of its VoIP Loudspeaker Amplifier product line to a customers with food warehouses and to a car dealership. CyberData's VoIP Loudspeaker Amplifier easily connects to IP networks with a single Ethernet cable connection for SIP-based overhead paging in noisy environments such as warehouses or for paging in outdoor areas such as car lots. It is enclosed in a moisture-proof NEMA enclosure for outdoor applications. CyberData also offers a wireless option for remote locations or areas where cabling is restricted.

CyberData pilots the new PCI IBM SI/O controller at Safeway
Working with ISS Retail, CyberData's PCI IBM SI/O controller installed in an HP RP-5000 terminal will replace Safeway's IBM 46xx terminals now running in Safeway's gas stations. The PCI IBM SI/O controller allows Safeway to retain all of it's IBM peripherals while updating the processor to newer technology.
