The Serial Buffer II Module (SB2M) provides adaptability for all of the Connect-IT® line of EPSON POS Printers. The SB2M provides a large input buffer to the printer so that printer operations do not slow down the host terminal. This ability to quickly plug in and run a state-of-the-art Epson POS Printer is a cost effective method for upgrading the speed and reliability of a POS system without software or hardware re-design and installation. A soft host interface utility is provided to allow host interface communication perimeters to be changed from the host PC. A variety of printer emulations are also available.
